This song makes me think a lot about my child hood because I always wore handmedowns! In fact I used the same bike that both my sister and brother used. When my brother got too old for it, my Dad soddered the broken frame and got it ready for me to ride.
Now some would think that this would make me feel sad but the truth is it made me strong! It also helped me to learn how to be thrifty, to overcome and get creative!

Behind my dreams-One of the songs I wrote
I decided to put this song on youtube for the song challenge
by &carolroach and another one of my connections who put my screen name in
her post challenging me to write about a song.
I am so sorry that I forgot her name.
I wrote this song in the year 2000! My beautiful children were my inspiration for
this song and I had it registered at the Library of Congress.
However I hate the way I look singing. To me there is nothing harder than not
looking weird when I sing in a video. My
facial expressions are so off!
Therefore, I decided to present some pictures of my family since
they were my inspiration anyway while I sing in the background.
The truth is that when I can’t see myself in the video my
voice actually sounds better to me because I am not distracted by my goofy
looking expressions. LOL
Maybe someday I will get the hang of singing in a video and
start making more of them with just me singing with either the guitar or
keyboard but don’t hold your breath.

Always saying Goodbye
We will never have to say Goodbye to Jesus
I wrote this song a few days ago and have been struggling
with the instrumental. Due to the fact
that I finger pick most of my songs I wanted to change it up a bit and use some
type of strumming pattern for this song.
After installing new silk and steel strings, buying soft
picks and even a rubber apparatus that fits inside the hole of the guitar;
strumming just did not seem to be the right way to go.
Not that I will never try different strumming patterns again,
but, for now I have to “let it go!”
Perhaps my voice only goes with finger picking of the
guitar! Who knows!
Please let me what you think regarding the finger picking
technique!

Hubby knows me so Well
My New Song-Hubby Knows Me So Well
I decided that it would be fun to write this song after
hubby came home with a huge bag of bird seed because he knows me so well.
He knows that I am not only a very practical person but that
I love anything that has to do with nature.
I love it when he actually remembers and picks up the things
I need around the house. To me this is
better than any fancy perfume or jewelry because I know that he is tuned in to
what matters to me the most.
I hope you enjoy the song that I wrote today! I wanted to do more bubbling today but for
some odd reason my Internet went down.
